I started in the trade in 2014 and went out on my own after years working under some of Sydney’s busiest commercial sparkies. The pace never bothered me. The shortcuts did. Jay H Electrical exists to give people a sparkie who turns up on time, leaves the place tidier than they found it, and signs off properly when the job’s done.
Most of my work is on the Northern Beaches, from Manly through to Palm Beach. I take jobs anywhere across Sydney too. Residential is where I’m strongest, with steady small-commercial fit-outs and shop work in the mix.

Yes. Fully licensed in NSW and covered by comprehensive public liability insurance. Licence number is supplied on every quote and invoice.
No. Written quotes are free. For a more involved job I might do a short site visit first, also at no cost.
Usually within a few business days for non-urgent work. If something is unsafe or you have lost power, send me a message and I will do my best to fit you in same-day.
Yes for emergencies, and yes by arrangement for renovations or commercial work that needs to be done out of hours.
Always. Every job that requires one is issued with a CCEW (Certificate of Compliance Electrical Work) on completion. A copy is emailed to you.
Bank transfer is preferred. Card payments accepted on request. Invoices are sent on completion of small jobs, or in stages for larger projects.
